Because the most important part of the appointment isn’t always the hair.

The relationship between a stylist and a client is built on trust, conversation, and clarity - but expectations are changing. We want to understand what really happens in the chair: the moments that matter, the decisions, the surprises, and the honest confessions that often go unsaid.

This is about hearing real experiences so the industry can better understand how trust is formed, how expectations are managed, and where things can go off track.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Tell us your confession or salon story
    Share an honest moment from a salon experience - positive, challenging, or somewhere in between.

  2. Submit it here (anonymous if you prefer)
    You can include your email only if you wish to enter the draw.

  3. Go into the draw to win prize
    The winner will be contacted after submissions close.

You might consider writing about:

  • A moment when a picture didn’t translate into the outcome you expected

  • When you realised you truly trusted your stylist

  • A decision made in the chair that felt harder than expected

  • How expectations were clarified - or misunderstood

  • A time when communication really worked, or didn’t

There’s no right or wrong response. We’re interested in honest experiences.

PRIZE DETAILS

$1,000 Shopping Spree

Every confession is an entry into the draw to win a $1,000 Shopping Spree.
- Prize money is in USD.
- There is one prize of USD $1k.
- Winner will be drawn at random.
- Competition is open to all regions.
- The prize can be used at an eligible online store of your choice and will be provided in the form of online vouchers.
- It cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The store of your choice must offer verified gift vouchers for digital usage in order to be eligible.

Each confession = one entry. Multiple entries possible.
The winner will be announced after the campaign closes by 31 March 2026.
