Are you currently changing or about to change - your hair colour?

Help us understand how people decide on a hair colour change and how that experience could be better.

We’re conducting paid market research to better understand how people decide on a hair colour change, and how well today’s tools, advice, and salon experiences support that decision.

Drastic or subtle - we’re looking for people in the middle of a colour change.

We want to hear from people who are actively in the process: researching, gathering inspiration, speaking with a stylist, or who have recently completed a colour change.

We want to understand:

  • How expectations are formed

  • Where uncertainty or friction appears

  • And what could make the experience more transparent, confident, and modern

WHATS INVOLVED

We’re looking for up to 10 participants across all demographics and countries of residence.

If selected, you’ll be asked to take part in:

  • A 15-minute introductory call

  • A 30-minute in-depth interview (video or phone

Participants will be compensated for all their time [include a nod amount].


Full details will be shared with selected applicants.

In these interviews, we’ll ask you about:

  • How you decided to change your colour

  • The images, references, or celebrities you used for inspiration

  • Whether you used any colour try-on tools (apps, filters, AI, consultations)

  • How you communicated your expectations to your stylist

  • How pricing and scope were explained (or not)

  • Whether the final result matched what you expected

  • Looking back, what could have made the experience better - tools, software, visuals, guidance, or transparency
